This is a repeatable wellness screening to track changes over time (not a diagnosis). It’s most useful when you run it the same way each time (same time of day, caffeine, sleep).
Baseline protocol (about 4–5 minutes)
- Settle30sPut on the headset, sit comfortably, minimal movement.
- Eyes open60sLook at a fixed point. Normal breathing.
- Eyes closed60sRelax jaw/forehead. Keep still.
- Paced breathing60sIn 4s, out 6s (or comfortable slow breathing).
- Mental task60sCount backwards by 7s (or similar gentle focus task).
